Fridays, beginning September 18^th at 11am – Book, Boogie & Play!:  A well rounded storytime for our youngest patrons! We will read a story, boogie to music with instruments, and finish off playing various sensory activities together. Ages 18 months to 3 years MAX 15

Fridays beginning September 18^th from 3-5pm – Yay for Fridays!: Drop in for a different sensory activity each week. Grades K-6^th (children will not be admitted after 4:45pm)

Wednesday, October 14^th at 4pm – The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh Movie & Snack: Hip Hip Pooh-RAY! We’re celebrating 100 years of Winnie the Pooh! Come as a family and enjoy some Hundred Acre themed snacks. Ages 3-12 years (children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult) MAX 20

Saturday, October 17^th at 2pm – Starry Night Raccoon Art: Learn about local wildlife and create an adorable animal art masterpiece! Grades K-6^th MAX 15

Monday, October 19^th at 4pm – Pumpkin Storytime: Enjoy a few pumpkin stories, followed by playing pumpkin games. Grades K-2^nd MAX 15

Tuesday, October 20^th at 4pm – Pumpkin Guts: This is a hands-on, messy sensory experience where you can explore the inside of a pumpkin and make slime! Grades K-6^th MAX 15

Wednesday, October 21^st at 1pm – Homeschool Club Science Wow!: Meet with other homeschool families and have fun learning about science. Grades K-6^th MAX 15

Wednesday October 21^st at 3pm – Messy Art Storytime: Be a part of a masterpiece! We’ll read a story and create a giant art project as a group to hang up in the library! Ages 3-6 years (child must be accompanied by an adult over 16 years) MAX 15

Thursday, October 22^nd at 6pm – Pet Ghosts: Want a pet that’s low maintenance and easy to take care of? Then come and make your own pet ghost! We will mold clay into the shape of a ghost, and paint it to glow in the dark! While it dries, we will make a cute and spooky home for your ghost!                                         Grades 3^rd-6^th MAX 15

Saturday, October 24^th at 2pm – It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown Movie & Popcorn: Who will wait in the patch for the great pumpkin to arrive? Stop by for some popcorn and watch the movie with us. Grades K-6^th MAX 25

Thursday, October 29^th at 6pm – Scary Storytime: Do you dare to be scared? Join us for an evening of eerie tales, urban legends, and spooky mysteries perfect for older elementary kids. Note for Parents: This program is specifically designed to be delightfully spooky but age-appropriate for ages 8–12. No graphic gore, just good old-fashioned goosebumps! Grades 3^rd-6^th MAX 15

Friday, October 30^th at 11am – Not so Spooky Storytime: Come dressed in your favorite costume and enjoy this Halloween storytime in a not so spooky way! Ms. Amy will read a not so spooky story, we’ll dance to toddler Halloween music, and spend our remaining time doing a simple Halloween craft. Before you leave, we’ll have a parade around the library to get some treats! Ages 18 months-4 years MAX 15

Saturday, October 31^st from 3 to 6pm – Trick or Treat @ the Library: Will you get a treat or Trick?? Stop in and show us your costumes! ALL AGES

Monday, November 9^th and 23^rd at 11am –Yoga Storytime @ The Little Red Schoolhouse: Take a field trip to the Little Red Schoolhouse located at 9800 Willow Springs Rd, in Willow Springs, for stories and stretching. Meet inside the Nature Center.  Ages 3 to 6 years with adult MAX 15

Tuesday, November 10^th at 6pm – Lego Build Night: Spend the evening at the library putting your engineering skills to work during our open play Lego build. Duplo blocks available for our younger patrons. Children under 5 must be supervised by a parent or caregiver aged 16 years and older. Ages 3 to 12 years MAX 20

Monday, November 16^th at 4pm – Disguise a Turkey Storytime: Will the turkey be saved from being the main dish at Thanksgiving dinner? Let’s find out during this story time and craft. Grades K-2^nd Max 10

Wednesday, November 18^th, December 2^nd & 16^th at 1pm – Homeschool Club: Science Wow! Meet with other homeschooling families and have fun learning about science. Ages 5 to 12 years MAX 15

Thursday, November 19^th at 6pm – Super Family Literacy Night: Reading is our superpower! Join us for a SUPER night full of fun reading and writing activities to do together as a family. Families who participate will be eligible for a superhero themed family games raffle basket. Winner will be drawn at the end of the program. Best for children in grades K-3^rd.

Saturday, November 21^st at 3pm – Family Volunteer Day: Come make a no-sew fleece blanket to give to families at the Ronald McDonald House in Oak Lawn.  MAX 6 Families

Monday, November 23^rd at 1pm – 3D Thanksgiving Craft: No school! Come make a 3D craft to decorate your Thanksgiving table. Grades 3-6^th MAX 15

Tuesday, November 25^th at 6pm – Turkey Bingo: Everyone loves to play BINGO! Join us as we play a variety of Bingo games, there will be prizes for the winners, and EVERYONE receives a FREE book for playing! Grades K-6^th MAX 20

Wednesday, November 25^th from 3 to 5 pm – Drop-in Thanksgiving STEM: Drop-in for a variety of stem (science, technology, engineering & math) projects with a Thanksgiving theme. Grades K-6^th

Saturday, November 28^th from 2 to 4pm – Drop-in Game and Puzzle day: Celebrate game and puzzle week with us! We’ll supply the games and puzzles, you bring a friend! ALL AGES

Monday, November 30^th at 4pm – 3D Polar bear paint: Do you like to paint? Join us while we paint a cool northern lights backdrop for a 3D polar bear. Grades 3- 6^th MAX 15

Tuesday, December 1^st at 6pm – Playdoh Creations: Let your imagination run wild and have fun creating with Playdoh!  Children under 5 must be supervised by a parent or caregiver aged 16 years and older. Ages 3 to 12 years MAX 20

Monday, December 14^th at 4pm – DIY Bath Bombs: Warm up with a cool bath bomb that we will make ourselves! Give as a gift for someone or keep it for yourself! Grades 3^rd-6^th MAX 15

Tuesday, December 15^th at 6pm – Let’s color! We’ll have various coloring supplies available for kids to color their own creations, or join others coloring the same extra-large coloring sheets! Children under 5 must be supervised by a parent or caregiver aged 16 years and older. Ages 3 to 12 years MAX 20

Wednesday, December 16^th at 4pm – Gingerbread Storytime: You can’t catch the gingerbread man! Let’s read a story, taste test a gingerbread cookie and make some gingerbread playdoh. Grades K-2^nd MAX 10

Thursday, December 17^th at 6pm – Christmas Bingo: Santa loves playing Bingo! Join us as we play a few holiday themed Bingo games. Prizes for the winners, and EVERYONE will receive a FREE book for playing! Grades K-6^th MAX 20

Saturday, December 19^th at 3pm – Family Solstice Celebration: Celebrate together as a family, the beginning of winter with a story and fun snack! MAX 12 families
